Well Ben Browder(hope i got his name right)who was John Criton from Farscape switched over to Stargate when they ended the Farscape series, so now Ben Browder is Col. Cameron Mitchel(hope i got the name right) the new leader of SG-1 with Teal'c, Dr Danial Jackson, Col. Samantha Carter and Vala Maldoran(hope i got the name right), Vala is played by Claudia Black from Farscape, now instead of fighting the Goa'uld or the replicators they are fighting the Ori who are a race of ascended being just like the ancients but perhaps even more powerful, the one good thing about the Ori is that they rely to much on there Priors as agents of Chaos, unfortunately this is supposed to be the last season of Stargate but they have Stargate Atlantis now and that is kinda cool.

Farscape did not merge. After the final movie/episode of Farscape, I am only assuming that the actors became involved with Stargate, and were hired onto the crew for their SCiFi experience. Was it the best move? Don't know. But I feel getting rid of Farscape was a bad idea. I was an avid fan!

I don't watch Stargate any more. I don't like the way it is now.
