If you think the door has dropped, try lifting it by the handle to release it from the locks. If this does'nt work remove the beading and take out the panel,or glass, this will allow for plenty of movement of the door sleave, then lift it again. The hinge screws are not normally accesible when the door is shut, unless they are 'flag' hinges, (surface mounted) these can be removed by sliding off the hinge cover and removing the screws, but not recommended unless competent. Hope this helps

if the door has dropped and opens out stand outside(inside if opening in)try lifting the sash while somebody else trys to open the door this should get it open then you will be able to check on how the hinges adjust usually allen key to bottom of hinge will raise it do this on all three hinges the same amount to prevent squeaking if they are not flag hinges then any height adjustment will not be available you can then either reposition the keeps so the door operates smoothly or the other option is to reglaze and repack if this becomes the case repost the question and i will try to explain its easy when you know how

If you have an inner door panel...? It may have moved slightly as sometimes spacers are used to level the panel. If this happens your door frame can warp making it awkward to open/close. Your best bet is call out your local fitting company and get them to have a look for you, unless you feel competant to do this your self.

You will have to chisel out the area where the latch is then open the door and repair the latch

Place a lever under the door at the lock side and ease the door up it should lift a few millimetres. Don't try and lift by the handle as this may loosen it off.

i take it you are on the inside! if hinges have gone, try and prise door up with a bar, don't attack any of door frame or you will spoil it! if its a glass door you may just need some backing under glass to get the door back sq!! best of lock!! he he
