goto The George and Dragon...english pub on staromestka namesti(old town square)...great english pub...they also have one of the best retaurants in prague downstairs (kinsky palace)..and the old town square is the best place to be at midnight...thousands of people...loads of champagne...fireworks...
everything u need!!and the bar staff will direct u to the best parties later on!!

It's a shame I don't remember street names so well, but I can tell you there is a wicked three story club to be found, as well as a delecious yet inexpensive resturant to eat that is in a walkway not far from the Charles bridge, it's a pizza place that has some really interesting toppings. I enjoyed it a lot.
