depends what he's looking for in a phone. if he's one of those that aren't all that good with technology then i wouldn't recommend a s60 nokia but al phones coming out now have cameras, bluetooth and mp3 which are the basics

i got the nokia 6233 and i love it...its got everything from 3g,gprs ,radio a 2 mpixel camera etc etc.....its just really nice to use and looks v.professional too aswell as bluetooth,mp3,email and mine only cost E199

Get him the N73. its got every thing he would need and a special operating system so that it can work with word etc. also can adapt it to have sat nav with an addon. Thats if he likes gadgets! :)
