Batman IS a superhero and he IS the best! He's proof that you don't even need powers to be a superhero! The "super" does not necessarily have to imply powers. He's super in his perfection and excellence in his abilities.

gotta disagree with you because one, he has ZERO superpowers, just some sweet toys and lots of money. And two, Spiderman would own him any day. Spidermans storyline actually makes sense and is somewhat believable. Batman just wanted to get revenge for his parents (whoop e, we all do at one point or another) but Spiderman is a genetic mutation when he was bitten from a chemically changed "super-spider". Which gives meaning to the storyline. They both have one thing in common, they seek revenge for the loss of a loved one. All in all, Spiderman owns Batman.

Yes he is the best and by far. As for not having any super powers I don't see how that makes you unqualified. Goblin and Doc Oc are both super villians with only so called "toys" and crazy attitude. Iron Man is just a man in an awesome iron suit.
Super hero has to do more with saving people from disaster than having super powers.

It's a tie betwixt Batman and Wolverine - if you could call Wolvie a super 'hero'. Why? They're such intriguing characters! Their personal conflicts are SO fun to watch!!

Batman is the greatest because he seems like the most realistic to me... He has an awesome car and a butler who makes his gadgets.......... Batman Forever is my fave...

Wolverine and Superman could both takeout Batman. Sure batman is cool, and has lots of great gizmos, but he is after all only human.
