Like they said you can press print screen and then ctrl + v (or edit, paste) to copy the entire screen into paint.

If you only want the active window, you can hold down alt while you press print screen, and then paste it into paint.

Depending on how often you use this function you may want to use a tool like ScreenPrint32 http://surf.to/provtech which allows you a little more flexibility with the print screen function as far as how and where to save it as well as allowing you to specify exactly what you'd like to copy.

Get a nifty program called "SnagIt" which will not only allow you to take a shot of the entire screen (as does Print Scrn) but allows you to take a screen shot of any portion of the screen and save it in a number of different file formats. Very handy.

Hit the print screen button and then paste it into a media file like in Paint or Adobe Photoshop.

Awesome screenshot capture is a great yet free plug-in for you to do the trick. You just search for its name on Google and install it on your Chrome/FireFox. I have used it for some time and it works well for snapping full screen, scrolling screen, partial screen and more. Hope it helps.
