If the Vikings win out they would need for Atlanta and Philadelphia to lose one game or the Giants to lose 2 games for the Vikings to make the playoffs. If Atlanta wins out they are in. If Philadelphia wins out they are in. The Giants are 6-3 against the NFC so they need to win 2 of the last 3 to go. Vikings need to win and get help.

the vikings can win out. they play three not exactly "tough guy" teams (jets, packers, and st. louis). they also hold tie breaker advantages over the other wild card contenders.

so as strange as it may sound... the vikes do have a legitimate chance making the playoffs. which doesn't exactly mean a whole lot. we will most likely lose early and winning the last 4 games of the season will cost us a better draft slot.

I didn't know that there is a NFC North Wild Card. I know there is 2 NFC wild cards but not div. wild cards. I guess you do learn something new everyday.
