me and the father of my child split for 1months i had casual sex with a friend on may 12,2006 i then had my period may 22-26. i got up with the father again the day after my period and then on and i had a test in middle of june and was pregnant i was kinda scared that the father would be the other. what do you think please help.

the father will be the guty who you are with now. since u had a period after you had sex with this other guy u cant of got pregnant.

It is unusual to bleed when you are pregnant but it isn't impossible so you could be pregnant from the casual sex encounter in May. Was your bleeding in May normal in terms of how heavily you bleed and how long you bleed when you have a period? If not, it may not have been a period after all. It may have been breakthrough bleeding or implantation bleeding.
Most likely if you had your period in May you didn't get pregnant until June, however. When you have your first ultrasound and the doctor estimates how far along you are from the size of the baby, see if his estimate coincides with getting pregnant in May or June. Short of DNA testing, that's about as good a guess as you can make.

All doctors would tell you that there's no way to know with absolute certainty when conception took place. Sperm can live in the uterus for up to 7 days, and there's no way to know when sperm and egg will meet. Not even all of the conception programs on websites can tell you 100% when you conceived. But if you had a period, you most likely were *not* pregnant when you got back with your boyfriend. It's impossible to have a period and be pregnant since a period is the shedding of the uterine lining necessary for pregnancy. So most likely your boyfriend is the father, but the only way to know is to have a paternity test done after the baby is born.

If you had your period AFTER having sex with your friend, then you would not be pregnant by him.
I'm assuming that you are getting proper medical care. Your doctor should be able to tell the size of the baby by measuring either with a measuring tape or ultrasound. That way you can be positive about the date of conception.

It is possible to get your period when you are pregnant so it is possible you got pregnant either in May or June. An ultrasound will help give you an accurate idea of when you got pregnant.

your "period" could've been implantation.......So it is possible it is the other guys.....And if you are that far along, havent you had an ultrasound to determine the dates?
