None of the above. That IP address belongs to Fashion Institute of Technology, but they do not seem to be running a web server from it.

a)... no

b) no, since a , a web server is not what has an ip address, it is the computer itself that does, to specify a web server you also need a port number and with name based hosting the domain name anyway.

c) no, it is assigned, and net sol is not who gives out ip addresses anyway.

d) no... it is an assigned routable addresss

so, none of these answers are right.

The guy down a few is right.. none of the above. I edtied my response after because he made a good point. although this IP address is valid it's not one assigned to a web server so it can't be (B).

Not (D) because it is a public Ip adress

WTF is C saying? if it was never allocated then it doesn't exist...so it's not C because it does exist.

BTW i did a WHOis and here's the info... that IP is registerd to Fashion Institute of Technology

It obviously is not a serial number (not a). It would be b, it is a valid IP address. It would not be d, because the IP is a public IP, most likely you would get a private, dynamic IP address.
