Most will ponder the "agreement" of reality and say that perception is it's god, I, however, disagree.....lol, what a shock. To be societal for a moment.....a major problem that exist today is people believing that only perception is reality which leads to there being no true answer, thus we have gotten ourselves in a situation where the person whom shouts their opinion the loudest ... is right in what they say. Not so.....in fact, it is SO not so that I feel I must say it LOUDLY..... lol. Anyhow, reality is what we seek it out to be, constantly deducing what it may or may not be......not perception, because perception is only a facade, an easy fix....it is usually not the final explanation. Reality is a bubble that we can peer into, but can't explain, and explaining is our problem.....we're not supposed to, we're not allowed to, because we're exTREMELY stupid, so! The only thing we can do is explain to each other....... each other, and that's it. Explaining what is swirling around us is a waste of time.... Shakespeare said "Life is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury....signifying nothing." be well, Jack

No, how could that possible be? If all the world agreed that H2O was not water, would that make any difference to the brute reality of water? There is a lot of agreement on religious beliefs; agreement, not evidence. Those that say all reality is perception are confusing cause with effect; a common mistake among relativists. We can not prove brute reality, but every breath we take presupposes it's existence.

Reality isn't agreement. Just because two guys agree that the world is round doesn't make it true until someone sails all around the globe or sees it from outer space. Making perception the creator of reality.

Well, sorta. My thinking is that all reality is more compromise than agreement.
Naturally some realities are more "real" (the earth is round, the sun is a ball of gas, that guy driving the Hummer has more money than I do...) but what we don't know for certain involves compromise.
