Girl I bled for about 6 weeks with each of my children. I noticed it would flow heavier and more reddish when I was moving around alot or to fast or over working myself. I wasn't filling a pad like I was in any danger & it didn't smell rotten or anything so I really had nothing to worry about. My Doc always told me to just take it easy.

It can take up to 4 weeks to stop bleeding and some women get there period reight away, it it last for more than 2 weeks of red blood you need to follow up with you OB. I bleed for 6 months after having my first child and apparently there was nothing wrong so I got a new doctor who placed me on the pill and magically the bleeding stoped.

Mine did the same thing, it looked as though it was ending then WHAM out of nowhere it was red again. I called the doctor and the nurse told me that if i was soaking through a pad to go to the ER, it never did. It eventually toned down a day later.

Yeah I just had a baby 4 days ago and the doctor told me to stop doing what I was doing if I started bleeding more. So I guess you gotta just rest =/

believe me, you are ok. if there is a foul smell, and signs of sickness that include fever or more pain down there than usual-see a doctor. My lochia didnt stop for eight weeks; so I know what you mean!
Good luck!

I don't think that's a big problem. I know women that kept bleeding for about 6 weeks. If you are concerned talk to your gyn, but I think you are fine.
