Ok, so i don't have one, but i plan on getting one once the price lowers. my question is... is nintendo going to make a regular controler for the wii? you know kinda like the gamecube controller. Just heard they were making one. Oh and also if they are going to make one then when will it be avalible to purchace.

Yes, Nintendo is planning on releasing a standard controller, however it will not be usable for all games. With the promotion that you will be able to download games from previous consoles (ie, Gamecube, Nintendo 64, Super NES, NES), Nintendo realized that the motion controlled Wii controller would not be compatible with these downloads. This original controller will be usable only for the games downloaded from the Nintendo store. The Wii games themselves are designed around the free-motion ability and will need the specialized controller.
