with the intention of buying some of that makeup if i like the way it looks on me?

Yes. I've done it before. A sales associate comes over and applies what makeup she thinks will have an effect on your face and if you like it she'll get some for you so then you can buy it.

I have had a makeover at Sephora, I went with a girlfriend and it was a good experience. I would recommend calling the location you plan to visit and make an appointment ahead of time to make sure a stylist will be available.

Yes you should go up to the makup counter, tell the lady (or guy these days) you are interested in buying makeup but would like it applied to see what the end result is...places like that always give makeovers

Sure, But definitly buy a few items. They are there to sell and help , not to dress you. Usually there is a make-up artist available at the store. Good luck

Yes but it would be rude to just walk in get the make over and leave without buying anything... Therefore book an appointment, and get your make-over then buy a product!
