It's Manny being Manny! He is trying to figur out what he is doing without making a big deal. He hasn't talked to the media many times since he has been with the Sox. It is a matter of prefrence, some talk, some don't.

i personally lik manny but you never know with him. i believe that there are a couple reasons why one because just plainly its manny being manny and two he feels that he is to good for some stuff such as the media. another reason would probaly be that his english is not easy at all to understand.

Not sure, but I'd say it's just Manny being Manny. Maybe he's afraid to be criticized for his behavior, like when he played in about three games after August, or when he fakes the sore hamstring. Manny's Hammy.

well manny does talk to the media. i have heard him talk to the spanish media a couple of times. i dont blame manny for not wanting to talk to the media. they will bug you to death and manny doesnt look like he will like the media in front of his locker everyday.

hes afraid they will talk bad about his play and hes such a headcase it would distract him in the game...best this way, he plays much better...also feels he doesnt get enough respect from the media so better to have a less is more approach

Every time he opens his mouth, he says something stupid. I think one of his advisors told him to just stop talking.
