No, it is not the three way bulb thing.. and it is three touch lamps all different kinds

You may have replaced a standard bulb with a 3-way bulb thinking that is what was needed. Most touch lamps (if not all) use standard bulbs and regulate the amount of current flow to the bulb internally. Try putting in a standard bulb and see if that doesn't solve the problem. If not, it may be that lamp itself that has gone bad and not the bulb you replaced. Good Luck.
