Rabbits reproduce at an alarming rate. The gestation period is very short and the can have a lot of offspring. As soon as they are done having babies, they do it all over again. They also have very advanced reproduction system, and can start reproducing at a very young age.

Rabbits just have a lot of babies...a lot of litters of babies = lots of sex...That's all. I haven't actually seen bunnies "bump uglies", but that is what I've heard...

I think it might have something to do with the frequency in which rabbits screw each other, perhaps they do it more than most animals or something.
