You need to contact your orthopedic surgeon. It may be that you are experiencing pain in the knee but it is radiating to your hip. If you ever have problems after an injury go back to that doctor.

Your compensation lawyer, first, explain to him what your problem is & tell him your going to call your doctor ( the same one who did your knee surgery ) It may be sore because you had the knee surgery & your walking different, putting pressure on your hip, but only your doctor can tell you if this is the problem. If you dont have a lawyer ( & you should ) just call the doctor & make an appointment.

You first should report to your employer. If it wasn't reported originally, they are obligated to report, or "re-report", your issue to Workman's Compensation Board.
If you by-pass your employer, there are penalties involved for not reporting it originally, which may not apply.

Discuss this with your employer.
