Yeah, that sounds like a good idea, and you might want to charge her with harassment as well.

Why the restraining order is she threatening you? Tell your ex! Why is she checking his voice mail? If she continues to harass you after the fact of you telling your ex that she has been calling you constantly. Then you should get the law involved, but if you two live in the same state and she is considering to come to your house and do bodily harm to you and your unborn children contact the law immediately. Take no chances that female may be crazy!
Good luck!

Leaving a message like that on a cell phone is one of the lamest things I've ever heard. Having said that, you need to have a face-to-face talk with the father and make him aware of the constant harassment. If he's a lawyer he'll know what the implications are.It wouldn't hurt for you to find out what your rights are regarding this child and the harassing phone calls. Good luck to you.

you can't really get a restraining order for this. you can however take the messages to the police department and tell a police officer what happened. then he'll call and have a talk with her and tell her of the consequences if she calls again. this way the pd can't say that you didn't come in with a complaint if the woman shows up at your house or calls you again. i know. i've been there and done that. after the police officer calls and has a talk with her, then she'll back off and leave you alone.

It never seems to fascinate me how people manage to dig these holes that they now find themselves in and wonder what to do.
For starters, anything having to do with sleeze and underhandedness would naturally have to be a lawyer. Who else would sit down, give you free legal advice and still manage to screw you anyway?
So what are you going to do? Have the kids? Guess you'd better find another legal pimp to go after this one for child support. As far as the wife goes, yeah you could make a complaint to the police and probably have a valid complaint for harassment or threatening. That is IF you actually think the threats may be carried out.
What I find most troubling is that you..as an adult..engaged in sexual intercourse with a individual and never took the steps (or he) to ensure this wouldn't happen, let alone contract any disease. For someone with a collge education you don't seem to put education and smarts to the forefront here.
Ah well.....if it weren't for people like you getting into messy situations like this I guess this place wouldn't be as much fun as it is would it?

Get an abortion. If thats not an option well deal with the bullsh*t that YOUR drunken irresponisbility got you into. Thats why they make birth control in the first place. Besides Seperated and DIVORCED are 2 entirely different things. I dont blame her for wanting to beat your ***. You certainly dont seem to be getting it. Hes back with her isnt he? How Jerry Springer.....Besides who the HELL tells someone news like that on voicemail. Grow up!

Unless she is threatening your life (and has the ability to find you and harm you) I would suggest avoiding a restraining order, as that is probably only going to push the father away. However, it is important that he knows the truth, so as long as he knows he is the father, there's probably not much you can do about her. Good luck!

Well you do owe her repect as females. So you need to just face your consequences with this situation. Is the other wife threatening you? Would you if you were in her shoes? Well you have to try to look at it from her shoes. She doesn't know what happened so you need to tell her b/c he is in the middle and he needs to pay for your babies. If you tried telling her in an adult manner and she is still going off then you need to take to neccessary steps to get her off of you.
Girl you got yourself a mess...step back and take a step at a time.

Do you have her threats recorded? If so, then take them to your local police station and have charges filed. I wouldn't doubt if they were never even split up, married men that have affairs like to use the story that they are split up or going through a divorce. Sorry
