What type of processor? How much RAM?

A 30 GB hard drive isn't going to hold much. It's probably a low end computer, I say its not worth more than $300.

That information isn't really useful in determining the price. This is what is needed to really give you a good idea of pricing.

Processor and Speed
Memory Amount
and what kind of motherboard helps determine an upgrade path

pc have one of the highest deprecation . when you buy it from the shop , they way things are going with them they are out of date before you buy them, you can expect to lose 80% of the shop price .

but there is a market out there so try and get as much as you can for it .every body now wants the two core cpu so there will be a glut of 2 hand older pc out there . so try to get what you can

That depends on what kind of computer you want. Basic productivity? Small Business? Gaming? Authoring & Editing? Multimedia?

WARNING: DO NOT BUY A REFERBUSHED PC!!! Trust Me.
