Given the opportunity, not one white person would trade being white to be black for even 5 minutes.

However, given the chance, any black person would trade being black to be white for just 5 minutes.

I don't believe that this statement is 100% true. You are assuming all white people feel this way and there is no way you can know this. You are also assuming that all black people will jump at the chance of being white, how can you know things like this?

Sorry, can't give you a thumbs up on this one, try again.

Even for 5 minutes? I think a white person would want to see what it is like to be black, would want to know what the blacks are always complaining about. Even for 5 minutes? I think a black person would want to see what it is like to be white, would want to know what they are saying about blacks so to find out why they have everything and blacks do not.

As a white person, I would gladly and willingly volunteer for the opportunity to experience life as a person of another race. There's a great TV show on about just that. However, nothing....NOTHING you can do can actually allow you to experience life as a person of another culture or race. Part of the uniqueness of being white or being black has to do with their experiences, their culture, and their family. Putting special make-up on me will only allow me to see part of it. I can never fully understand 'the black experience' anymore than a black person can fully experience being white. But I'd still do it for whatever experience I could gain.

I diagree.

I see many many white kids "acting" black. Im certain tthey would trade it for longer than five minutes, if it would piss off their parents enough.

Conversly, I know a few blacks that would never want to be a white person.....

Sorry, but I dont agree.

You can't answer a question like that, because everyone is different. Not all white people are happy being white, not all black people are unhappy being black. I definitely disagree with this theory.

WRONG. You cannot use absolutes in a statement like that and assume it will work. This is definitely one of those situations where one size does NOT fit all
