The movie looked good, but the plot stunk. A better plot would have been, if he went back into space and finds a computer(Braniac) left floating around and takes it back with him. Superman and Braniac battle it out, Superman wins, and at the end Lex picks up the remains of braniac. Boom you got an entire new franchise to pick up on.

That sounds like a good plot! I think that having the boy was what screwed it up! It should be more for the fans than them trying to add a little love story to attract more people!

I think the probelem with this movie and the entire DC comics universe, is that all of DCs arch-villians are non-fighting weaklings with henchmen. Hence, all the Lex Luthor plots that involve some diabolical plan to take over the world...usually having to deal with real estate and loss of life. If you want to give the movie some teeth, give Superman a villian that he can square off with. All the strength, invulnerability, and the other powers are overkill if Superman gets a little ticked at Luthor and gets a hand on him.

Lois Lane replaced into bland, her personality replaced into purely.. so... blah in this version. She had no spark, no personality, no pulse, no longer something. The newbie who performed Clark/Superman replaced into more effective than good yet nevertheless no longer the most constructive, and Lex replaced into outstanding. The action replaced into dramatic and typically a touch overbearing yet nevertheless exciting, the CGI replaced into miraculous, the route replaced right into a touch iffy and awkward once in a lengthy time period yet often enormously good... um... I loved the "son" twist (it is going to exhibit that Superman may have sex and in no way kill the lady inclusive of his supermoves). i did not like the forced rigidity between Lois, Clark/SM and the hot hubby. It did not come for the era of as entirely accessible. all of them regarded type of, nicely, scripted at the same time as it truly is going to've been organic. I dunno what my idea are on the "next" Superman action picture because, nicely, I hadn't idea about it. i wager i will purely wait and be stunned!
