The film is still in pre production!
I'd heard that speilberg did't like the script so it is being rewritten at the mo!
Natalie Portman is rumoured to be in it, playing indiana's daughter!
The production crew stated that the film would be shot the same way as the previous three - with stunt men, rather than computer generated effects
"Indiana Jones and The Lost Continent" is the title of one of the possible scripts being considered
As of April 2004, the project has been officially shelved once more after George Lucas rejected the script by Frank Darabont earlier. Reportedly, Lucas did not like Darabont's handling of the storyline between Indy and his brother (both Indy's father played by Sean Connery and brother, a role for which Kevin Costner was rumored to be considered, were to have roles in the new movie). In media reports Darabont indicated he was "disappointed" with the decision.
At one point, Calista Flockhart was attached to the project.
They are also saying it will be ready for 2008! but doubtful!
Please, please god! no more snakes on anything! I'm with indiana jones and i can't stand snakes!

Punctuation is your friend....
I don't know bout the new Indy movie...don't really care either because it's a long ways away
As for Snakes on a Plane...it was awesome!! I can't wait to get it on DVD when it comes out...from now on, I will go see anything with Snake in the title starring Samuel L. Jackson (except Black Snake Moan...lol thats funny that there is already a movie coming out that meets that criteria)

Lol, great question :o) I've been hearing rumours of this for ages but as yet there seems to be no definates to it. This makes me cry, I love Indiana Jones (I named my first born after it lol) But snakes scare me tbh so I haven't had the guts to watch snakes on a plane! And yes I still hide from "that snake scene"...

It's the script. Spielberg was all ready to go on the fourth one, but George Lucas said he didn't like Frank Darabont's script, so it was back to the drawing board for Indy 4. They keep fussing and fighting over it, all the time Harrison Ford is getting older and older. I hope they get it done soon. We all want to see this, right?
I haven't seen Snakes On A Plane, but it's a great title for a movie.

All theories approximately Atlantis, Civilizations tens of hundreds of years in the past, extraterrestrial beings from area, etc. etc. are based on the thought that we people are too dumb to construct something. PBS has performed "This previous Pyramid" and "elevating the Obelisk" the two exhibiting that easy strategies and muscle power have been all that became required to construct the monuments that the theorists say needed extraterrestrial beings, magic, or great technological know-how. The climax or the "pyramid" tutor became only after yet another crackpot had his say on how pyramids have been build (the blocks have been poured in place) The stonemason "cease those interruptions and that i will get this performed on time!" That surprisingly plenty sums up how the theories are debunked. The "Chariots of the Gods" topic sells huge time. (cue spooky music) "Our primitive ancestors....better extraterrestrial beings from area...." then a itemizing of supposedly "technological know-how won't be in a position to describe" stuff. Carl Sagan reported it ultimate "wonderful claims require wonderful evidence." extraterrestrial beings from area? What some crashed spaceship with skeletons? only supply it to the Smithsonian, Washington, DC.Heck, some days i'm going to settle for the alien equivalent of a discarded beer can. individually i wouldn't call it racist. "quite insulting" is a much greater valuable in good shape.
