Ruthie,

Yahoo is not going to answer your question here.

I haven't used dial up in a very long time, but when I had SBC DSL (which is now AT&T) they offered dial up numbers.

If this is your business and income, why not upgrade to cable or DSL instead of blaming Yahoo! for your inability to do work. You are online posting this question, so what's the difference.

And when you go to the gas station and buy gas do you think they'll give you the oil for your engine fro free.
ISP services are not related to phone services they are completely different they only travel on the same wires. Phone calls go to a telephone switching system paid for and maintained by AT&T and internet calls go to a computer server instalation paid and maintained for by AT&T, why is that you feel that after making these huge investments in equipment and manpower they shouldn't charge you for the service. I guess the fault is ours..the other people on the planet that use the internet and pay our ISP for the privilage. We started an bad thing.

Check the yellow pages of your local phone directory.. there's got to be a "local" internet service provider in your area...just gotta find out who it is! However, any internet service provider is gonna charge you...it's not part of your phone service. How is yahoo keeping you from doing your job?? Don't understand this statement. But, the internet isn't free no matter where you get your service from.
