I really don't want to go, but everyone in the office keeps talking about what a great party I will be missing. The tickets are 15 buck and if you want to bring a friend 30, so I don't know if I want to invest 15 bucks back into my company. I think it should be free, I mean damn they are like suppose to be giving us something for working so damn hard for them for this long a -- year

We just got back from our annual luncheon.
The boss takes us to one of the best restaurants in town for a really nice seafood buffet and an open bar.
Everybody's pretty fat and tipsy right now.
I don't even know why we bother reopening the office; no one's going to do jack diddley.
We'll have a simpler, but boozier, party in the office next Friday.
Maybe you can come up and sing "Like a Virgin" while shakin' it on top of a table.

There are only two people in the company I work for - so no. The ones I've gone to in my past weren't that much fun - sort of like the one in Santa Claus 2 before the cool gifts arrived.

Been there done that. My department had the "Holiday" party at Lucky Joe's Saloon..woo! hoo! And Friday I get to go to my partner's company party in some ballroom at the University...oh well - one down and one to go...

No, evidently my office has a little Christmas lunch, Friday before Christmas and I had asked that day off.... So sucks to be me huh!

I don't do company parties. Those are for my parents. My sisters and I throw this really fancy masquerade ball instead.

Already did....it was fun. It was kind of a wine tasting. I got a great "white elephant" gift. Nobody got too drunk.....success.
