It is not at all effective to do that. There is sperm in pre-ejaculatory fluid. You can get pregnant!!!
If you don't want to be pregnant I recommend condoms, depo provera injections (4 times per year) or some form of oral contraception. Even using a diaphragm with spermicide is better than what you are doing.
That method you are using is insane. It only takes once to get pregnant....30 seconds for that matter. Make sure this guy is some one you want to deal with for at least 18 years if you happen to keep using this "method" of birth control....Good luck!

HA! I love this question! Here's your answer.. I was having sex with my boyfriend for 6 months and I got pregnant had a baby on October 7th, 2003.. I just had another baby December 9th, 2006 (yes by the same person). My kids are 3 years 2 months and 2 days apart.. you do the math =P

Ever heard of pre-ejaculation? It's when he releases some of his "soldiers" before he "gets there" So with pulling out there is still a very high chance of getting pregnant! USE A CONDOM OR GET ON PILLS!

In most cases a small amount of semen escapes before actual ejaculation, so it is very possible to get pregnant using this method. I would try something else.

It's still very likely. There is this thing called pre c u m, and that can still make you pregnant. I'm sure you've heard of this before, and if not there are many other questions relating to this subject.

unforcently U can get pregnant by him pulling out . I have become pregnant that way and alot of my friends have. Soo Jus be careful if u dont want a child.

this is a common question! but i have a good answer. i got pregnant from my husband pulling out! im now 26 weeks prego and he pulled out like 25 seconds before! men have a thing called pre-*** that they do just before they *** and even though they don't feel it comming out it still happens.

It's still very likely because even before ejactulation, there's pre-ejaculation fluid released, you may not notice it, but it also carry's sperm, it's the same as having unprotected sex.

we did that for 5 years using lots of caution and control, and um im now 13 weeks pregnant lol!!!!! Be careful if you dont want a baby :)
My other two boys were also made this way lol
