Depending on how athletic she is.
I'm 5'8" and 141lb and I wear size 6, sometimes even a 4, but I do have a high muscle to fat ratio.
I would say that if your girl is athletic, then size 2 and if she's of a soft persuasion, then size 4.
Also you can go with things in generic sizes - choose size small.
Choose things that are safe - sweaters, nightgowns, dresses and stay away from pants, which need to be tried on.
Also, why not just go to your girlfriend's closet and look at the tags - they will tell you the size.

I would say probably a size 5, but depending on how she's built...she may need "tall" sizes.....I am 5'6" about the same weight... but I have a 33" inseam so I have to buy tall or long sizes....try to sneak a peak at the tags in some of the stuff she wears( maybe help her do a load or 2 of laundry)....my tops are a M. But, I have to wear a size 8 blazer cuz of the sleeve length. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Sizes are often different store to store. I am 5'7 and 120 pounds and at Abercrombie I am a size 0, at a reg department store I can fit in a 4/6. Your best bet is next time you are at her place look through her clothes, do laundry with her, notice the sizes she has in the items she adores. You can't go wrong doing that.

That's about my size, although she's a little taller. I wear size small or medium in shirts (depending on length), and a 4 or 5 in pants. As for "something special", I'm not sure what size she would be as every woman has a different body shape, and if you aren't positive with her size, I wouldn't offend her by guessing.

Either give her a gift certificate - let her pick her own stuff - or check the tags on what she's wearing. Guys should never try to buy clothes for girls. Nice thought for you BUT if you buy her the wrong size , you risk insulting her (depends on the female). Buy her too small, she'll think she's fat - buy too big, she'll think YOU think she's fat. Not a good idea. My husband gave me a limit and let me shop online at Victoria's Secret. We picked out things together (including outfits and shoes) and I chose the size! I would rather know what I'm getting and know it fits then be surprised and possibly offended. Good luck.
ps We had a lot of fun shopping together online!!
Another idea is perfume, a name brand purse, body lotions, always jewelry,..............tons of stuff!!

this also depends on what her bust size and hips are like, judging from the weight and hieght I am guessing that she is fairly skinny and would most likely wear about a six in jeans and maybe a small or medium shirt depending on her bra size, Best of luck, try looking in her clothes hamper next time you in the bathroom maybe you could get a better idea of sizes!
