The same way you likely looked for your current position:
Employment agencies- ask about fees (employers, not you, should pay any fees)
On-line searches- but be aware, many if not most employers monitor emails and internet usage, so be careful- if you search at work you could be caught and be terminated
Network- if you want to stay in the same field that you are in now, discreetly talk to people and see if anyone has any leads- maybe there is even something in another dept where y ou already work, that may be more tolerable

The way things are going right now you need to make the best of what you have. The job market is real tough right now and it's going to get worse before it gets better. Emplyers are getting more and more picky so it would be in your best interest to be all you can be at what you do.

Try an internet career on the side and when it picks up you can quit your job and do the internet job full time.

depends on where you are in your career, if this a low wage job, just start submitting applicaitons and ask friends if they are hiring where they work.
If you are in a career job start posting your resume. Talking with head hunters and going on interviewers.
