It is just a phase. I grew up in the 80's in the South and somehow found myself with orange and red dyed hair and speaking with a New York accent. (Cyndi Lauper) Kids are very impressionable and tend to dress and act like the people they idolize. (I even wore one glove for awhile!)

It's a habit that can be hard to break, unfortunately. And when the parents don't do anything to correct things(increasingly the case nowadays), the problem gets worse. The "ghetto kid" attitude is something that's been pounded into their heads from an early age, and it can take some time and effort to change that attitude. And until the attitude problem is addressed, no behavioral changes are going to take place.

How do you define acting black? Do you mean the hip hop, ghetto, poor education and job prospects culture? Or the African (I don't mean black Americans, I mean proper African cultures) with the native clothes, music and food? I'm confused.
What is the next 'fad'? Acting Asian, or middle eastern?
The point I'm making is that it is sad that we associate types of behavior and lifestyles to ethnic groups.

It sure mystifies me. I live in a small Texas town. Needless to say we are a diverse group. Mexicans,Blacks, White, Asian. Ain't a "hood" within hundreds of miles. And yet.........All the young girls somehow think that its ok to be refered to as bitches and hoes. The boys can't seem to speak proper English, and the schools turn a blind eye. I don't get it. The kids refer to these people as wangsters and wiggers. wannabes. The mystery is why would you want to be.

they take in every ounce of things that make them gay and turn it into something that has something to do with calling other people gay then they sag their pants to prove people who are actually gay ( like themselves) are tough enough not to take it up their but to be representing the inakward way of living if you were to have secret fantasies of taking a very large penis up the butt and be gay white people think this way but black people its more common for a simple and non complicated answer to why they are gay as hell

in school they are afraid to be who they are which is on the less aggressive side. so they try to make up for it by strutting and pimping in order to accepted by the more aggresive types who they fear.
