we go to a candle light service, then we come home to a house full of people, i bake all week for it so there are cookies and cakes and goodies everywhere, we listen to the seasons music, we laught and talk play games. Then when everyone leaves my kids and hubby and mother get to open 1 gift, its always pajamas christmas ones. They wear them so when they get up they are all christmasy for opening up presents. I love family time, is the most precious thing to me!

With husband. This Christmas Eve we will be at home getting ready for the family to come for dinner on Christmas.

We have Christmas eve dinner, open ONE gift. Also,I live in the Christmas City (a small town in the midwest), and we drive around and look at the light displays, then at 11:00 pm, My family and I go to the candlelight service at our Church

this year we are going to my mother-in-laws for christmas eve. usually we go to my parents and watch some movies, have a few drinks and a bunch of friends and family tend to stop by throughout the evening. we are spending christmas day with my family though.

After the husstle and bustle of pre-Christmas activities my favorite thing on Christmas Eve is taking Holy communion. It is quiet time with just the Lord and me. It reminds me why we are celebrating and fills me with thankfulness. Then I spend the evening with my immediate family. A quiet dinner. ONE present to open and then it is off to bed for the little ones to wait for Santa. ( I always sneak a little bit of the reindeer trail mix for myself shhhhhhh!!)

Christmas Dinner at Grandma's, then to my parents house to open up gifts us kids bought for one another, then to in-laws to do Christmas there, go home get out a cokeand cookies for Santa, read twas the night before Christmas to our little girl, go to bed, wait for Santa!

We drive down town Ft. Wayne and look at all the Christmas lights everywhere. One time we were able to take a carriage ride, in the snow with it snowing. It was great! Then it's off to Grandmas house. That's all.

Usually I watch my regular shows unless there is a really good movie showing on another channel that I haven't seen yet and I snack on chips and dips all day and before I go to bed I have spiked eggnog.
