On the Z28 Camaro, there are two tubes that come off the top of each exhaust manifold and go under the engine. Are these tubes supposed to connect to something under the engine, or do they just connect to eachother?

They connect to an air control valve that connects to the air pump. The control valve is governed either by vacuum and/or electricity. The point is that air gets pumped into the manifolds to dilute exhaust emmissions and/or supply the catalytic converter to maintain and extend emmission system integrity and longevity.

It sounds like air tubes that should connect to an air pump, but I don't even know if an LT1 has one. I do know that TBI engines had them though, so LT1's probably did too.

you could wish the flowmaster 80 sequence. this is a crossflow style muffler. It sits sideways, and has twin merchants. additionally yet another muffler to envision which i think of could somewhat be extra suitable for a camaro is a hooker aerochamber. They sound very very nearly comparable to the flowmasters, yet they have plenty much less drone interior the automobile. i could stay away rom magnaflow. they'd be chrome steel, yet believe me they stee crumble, and somewhat they crumble swifter than maximum mufflers. they do no longer sound as sturdy the two.
