It comes down to this:

How many games were released for eye toy?
How many games were released for Wii?

Consider that Wii will have more than doubled eye toy's game library after barely six months of being on the market. That alone should tell you which the more successful is.

The Wii is the ultimate gaming machine. People with the PS3 and other things are just looking at the graphics saying "ooh" and "aah", but for playability, fun and a wide choice of games (over 330 already and growing) the Wii is the one to have. The Wii has already sold over 1 million units worldwide, versus about 240,000 for the PS3 - just goes to show which one is truly more popular.
