I have been offered a decent job in Singapore and until today i was very keen. Suddenly today i have become very frightened, I have a 12 year old son and I am scared it may not be good for him I do not want to ruin his life. What should I do?

You should make a list of pros vs. cons and go with whichever side wins.

He gets to go to international school and meet friends from all countries
He learn challenges of making new friends
Less likely to get into trouble such as drugs problem other countries are having

- cons
His friends back home might reject him if he talks funny with a Singapore accent
He will never have a life-long friend forged from school days
He won't be intellectually challenged if he go to local school. They shove knowledge down his throat and demands conformity.
He get little supervision/support from his close kin eg uncles etc

- A safe, clean and well organised Country in Asia
- English speaking environment
-Multiculture ( Chinnese, Malay, Indian, Euro asian, etc)
-Developed country, highend technology.
-Surrounding by beautiful places in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

- of Singapore:
* Very small country
* can easily get bored
* ERP (Electronic Road Pricing)
* GST increase
* Property price considered high.

okay if your son is happy where he's at then don't move him from his friends and things there are plenty of jobs that you can get you would actually hurt him sit down and talk to him and see how he feels about the situations.

i would only move to singapore for an awesomly great job..... not a decent one. and ask ur son about it.......

YOU GOTTA TAKE RISK AND JUST BE PREPARE IF IT GOES BAD YOU WONT RUIN HIS LIFE IF UR THERE 4 HIM AT ALL TIMES.
