Clay Aiken was a guest host on Kelly's show and he put his hand over her mouth because she wouldn't let him get a word in on an interview. She said to him, "That's a no-no, I don't know where that hand's been". Rosie said on her show that Kelly made a homophobic remark, by insinuating that Clay was gay and she didn't know where his hand had been. Kelly called into the View and said that was totally outrageous and not true. That it is cold and flu season and she didn't know if he'd coughed or rubbed his nose or whatever and was worried about catching the flu. Rosie said she loves Kelly but thought it was a homophobic remark, Kelly said no, it wasn't. I don't think they are still feuding, but I doubt they like each other!

Kelly ripa got pissed off because Clay Aikin was on the show and covered her mouth with his hand. She didn't like it and was pissed, but tried to play it off by saying "I don't know where that hand has been."

Rosie saw this and started going off on the view about how that was a homophobic remark. (Even though nobody has confirmed Clay is gay), and started going off on Kelly. Kelly happened to be watching the show and called in to defend herself. Rosie "ripa'd" her a new one, wouldn't let her get in a word edge wise. They still hate eachother.

yes, there was a guest on Kellys show who apparently either just came out or ppl were questioning his sexuality & Kelly wouldn'stop talking so this guy I think his name was Clay Aiken put his hand on her mouth & she said don't do that i don't know where that hand has been & Rosie took that statement as a homophic statement. I'd like to know what the gl community think of it? Was Rosie overreacting or was Kelly wrong?

something about when Clay Akin or whatever was in for Regis and he put his hand over Kelly's mouth and she said people shouldn't do that or something to that affect and somehow Rosie decided Kelly only said that because Clay is gay. I think things have been worked out between the two though.

Clay was taking Regis' place one day. I forgot who they were interviewing, but Kelly kept babbling, and Clay couldn't get in a word to ask any questions. So Clay put his hand trying to cover Kelly's mouth. Kelly goes "hey, I don't know where that hand's been" or something like that. Rosie took that as a comment against gay people. Kelly said that she just meant he was shaking so many hands in the audience, germs, etc. Something stupid, that was totally overblown. The end.

Clay Aiken covered Kelly Ripa's mouth with his hand, and Kelly said "I don't know where that hand's been, honey" Rosie interpreted this as a gay slur, and said so publicly. I think they've gotten over it.

And I officially read too much gossip online.

Well Clay Akien was on the Regis and Kelly show and Clay put his hand over Kelly ripas mouth and she freaked out. And Rosie got mad because she thought she was just saying "Ewww he is gay and he put his hand on my mouth" She didn't mean for it to be mean but she just didn't now if he was sick and the flu was going around so...

CYNDY KNOWS: Over Clay Aiken who was an American Idol...and very good too. But people say he is gay, Clay will not say one way or the other as far as I know and Kelly made a remark and gesture that Rosie took as homophobic. Probably just HW hype for all three.

Clay Aiken. Rosie turned it into Kelly being a homophobe, and Kelly took offense.
