From what I have heard if someone is on or within 5 days of the cusp they will carry the traits of both signs. My b-day is on the 22nd and I definitely show signs of both.

It's not just about having a "Sun in Pisces" or a "Sun in Aries"~planets change energy depending on the degrees (a chart wheel is made up of 360 degrees, divided by twelve houses = 30 degrees in each house). If your daughter is Pisces 29 degrees or Aries 1 degree, she'll still be different from someone at the beginning of Pisces or at the end of Aries (if that makes any sense).

You'd have to do her chart to determine whether she is a Pisces or an Aries, BUT she's going to have that Pisces-Aries cusp energy. A good place to do a free chart is http://www.cafeastrology.com/.

When you look at a chart, you examine the PLANETS THROUGH THE SIGNS (i.e. "Sun in Aquarius", "Venus in Capricorn") and closer planets have more weight, the PLANETS THROUGH THE HOUSES (i.e. "Sun in the Twelfth House," "Moon in the First House," and *most importantly*: THE ASPECTS (how many degrees apart the planets are~there is a sort of planetary "cross-talk." There are so many other nuances like chart shapes, patterns, which planet rules a house when there are multiple planets in one house,... Comparing two charts (specifically how each aspects the other) is called synastry. That's even more complicated...
