Bulger or Rivers

I've got that same problem. Bulger's up against Oakland's corners, though, who are kickass. I went Rivers.

Rivers, and easily. You can check through my profile on why I suggested Rivers over McNair in week 15. Oakland has a solid Pass defense (suprisingly), and a bad run defense. Steven Jackson needs a big breakout game (he's struggled as of late) and it's liekly he will go wild on Oakland's defenders. Bulger's a good QB, but he doesn't have the week secondary to pick apart like Rivers does this week.

Rivers Hands down...
Bulger has struggled A TON recently and now that Tomlinson has the record, they will try and get their passing game under control. Go with Rivers this time around.

Pick Rivers. Here's a little inside info: After the first SD vs. KC game one of the players on the Chiefs called the Chargers O-line "soft". Since that game the Chargers are 7-0 and have been dominating with their O-line. Now they have their chance for revenge, look for Rivers to have all the time in the world to throw, and with Gates playing like he is, and McCardell back, he should have a great game.

Bulger is a stud, but his team is not so studly, and he's lining up against the hardnosed Raider secondary.

I'd pick Phillip Rivers; not for his talent, but because he's throwing to LT, Antonio Gates, Keenan McCardell, and in summary, is part of an offensive machine.

Bulger has a rib injury that the team is not advertising. May not finish the game.

I say Rivers, he has better recievers and a great running game to keep the safties from playing too deep.
