You really need to address this with her pediatrician. Some babies have something called torticollis. It's basically an inability to straighten their necks out. It's seems to be more common now than it used to be. Watch her closely, it could also lead to plagiocephaly. That's a flat spot on one side of her head. Please talk to her doctor about this and if they don't give you a good answer, I would contact a plastic surgery doctor just to be safe. My little boy had slight plagiocephaly when he was a baby and now he has a flat spot on the back of his head. It's not very noticeable, but I know it's there and I still feel guilty sometimes that I didn't get a second opinion. Don't worry though, if this is what she has..it's very fixable at her age. Some things you could try in the mean time to loosen up her neck muscles is to hold her on the opposite side that you are now. Make it to where she has to look to the right if she wants to see things. Try propping her head so that she can't turn it to the left when she sleeps too. These are both common things that the doctors that I work for suggest you try before anything more invasive is done. Feel free to email me if I can help you!

Have you taken her in for her 2 month check up?? If not it would be a good idea. There could be a medical reason for this happening... At lease before it gets really bad and she has to live the rest of her life like that....

Can a 2 month old child hold up their own head ? I don't think they have developed neck muscles yet.

You need to be supporting the child's head for them until they develop the muscles to hold up their own head.

Ask Your Doctor to be sure.
