A 2 month old's neck muscles are not well developed yet and will generally fall to the side she tends to favor. You can help her out by turning her head to the right so that she doesn't become too used to the left. Also make tummy time a priority to help strenghten the neck muscles.

My son was exactly the same way. He still prefers to look to right but will look to left if something catches his attention. He's 10 months now. When he was a month old my mom-in-law noticed my baby only laid facing the right side and told me to face him to the left. When I tried to hold his head so it was facing the left he would get mad at me. It didn't hurt he just preferred the right.
When he was 2months probably til 6 months he did this. Make sure even if your baby doesn't like it that she lays her head both ways when she sleeps. My baby's left side is flatter on the right side cuz that's the only way he slept. I didn't make him turn his head to the left. Now he'll have to wear a helmet for 6 months.
If U have any worries ask your baby's doctor.

I think it's probably natural. Most babies get stronger on one side first, and then develop on the other side. They seem to do the same as far as only working on either their motor skills or speech and then moving on to the other. Or it may be more like some breastfed babies have a preference for one breast. If you are that concerned, you can always call her pediatrician.

Call your doctor. You could use a warm washcloth compress. You could do a baby massage. It might be that her neck is still weak and her head is heavy. Is she crying? If not, it most likely doesn't hurt. Their heads are wobbly until around 4 months.

The neck is a very delicate thing. You should take her to the pediatrician and check if she has any pain or limited motion.

Have you recently had her vaccinated?

She could be experiencing some nerve damage or enchephalitis....is she otherwise feeling well.....does she complain when you touch her neck?

Gee Mamma, take her to your doctor.....

A new mother may needlessly worry about her baby. However, a new OR experienced, mother does have a sense about their baby. PLEASE ask your pediatrician/doctor at ANYTIME that you have a concern about your baby.
