When I first moved to Los Angeles in 2000, there were few things to do that fit in my budget... one of which was going to EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND tapings, since they were, well, free.
I can't tell you how many RAYMOND tapings I went to, but Peter Boyle was like a comedy machine. No flubs. No retakes. Sold every joke on the first take.
First rate actor sure to be remembered for generations of rerun-watchers to come.

It is really sad. I loved him in Young Frankenstein! I thought he was pretty funny on Raymond too.Too bad.

It is so sad to see such good people having to pass away from this world. The people we adore on TV are the ones we watch to make us relax from a stressful life. We see them and laugh and feel better for a time. It is just sad that all the good people of the world have to go so quickly.

Very sad,indeed.He was in many movies before being a regular on a sitcom.His style of acting will be greatly missed.He was always a great pleasure to watch in any role that he was portraying.
