Definitely waffles. They hold whatever tasty goodness you want to put in their squares instead of melting or sliding off the side. And I also prefer the crunch of a properly cooked waffle over the mush of a pancake. Thanks for asking this question. It has helped me make up my mind to banish pancakes to the isle of lost breakfasts.
