I support Manchester United, but think Chelsea will win again this year (narrowly). I think we'll slip up over the Christmas/New Year period, with Chelsea overtaking us and that's the way it will finish up (Chelsea 1st, United 2nd).

The reason I think we'll finish second is that Chelsea have a much stronger squad and if we suffer any injuries in midfield or up front, we don't really have anyone to bring in. Just look at the bench we had for the Southend and Celtic away games - all defenders and no-one that can come off the bench and change a game.

I hope Larsson can score a few goals for us while he's here! I also wish Alan Smith would regain his form.

When you look at the result Man U is delivering, you'd easily say they will win it but when you think of how tough the Premiership will get in a month to come (including injuries) you'll slow down and say it's still early to say who will win it...Chelsea's bench means alot in terms of injuries Joe Cole is such a great player but they don't really miss him because there are alot on the bench to replace him...and if this happens at Man U it'll be called a blow.

Tchao!

I support Chelsea and I think ManU will win the premiership this season. This is because Chelsea are no longer the formidable side of the last two seasons. Chelsea won the premiership due to team cohesion and with Robben continually sidelined, I don't see them despatching ManU from their present lead. ManU are playing with more determination and verve such that they believe this is going to be their season, and if they continue to impress then no one will begrudge them the champions trophy.

Man United!!! Last year, they lost the trophy to Chelsea because they had a lousy start to the season. This year, they have had a fantastic start while it was Chelsea that stumbled. Historically, MU has been strong during the christmas end of the season and barring injuries, they will continue to be strong for the rest of the season. Chelsea will not be able to overtake them.. Go Man United!!

I support Liverpool, but I think Man Utd will win because they have an excellent squad, and they are a very strong team on a very strong run that I don't think will end anytime soon.

manchester united

we'll stumble over this congested christmas/new year period but we'll regain our form. i don't think it'll go to the last day; it'll probably be done and dusted a week or two before

incidentally....why is the christmas period so congested? they could have picked any time of the year to have all these fixtures together, and they choose the time when the players would most like to be relaxing and it's quite cold. germany and spain have christmas breaks and it's had no effect on their national/domestic teams; so why don't we?
