Well, considering the Muslims, the Jews, and the Christians have all been fighting since the dark ages, my guess is no. Also, the Muslims have been fighting themselves for almost as long. The Sunni hate the Shiite, and vice-versa. Then of course there is the China/Taiwan situation which has nothing really to do with British policies. I'm thinking your giving way too much credit to those folks from the little island. Thanks and have a nice day.

Always easier to dismiss all ills on an outside opressor...become a victim society. Many eastern European countries under Communist oppression for 50 years have found a way to blossom in ten years once they tossed the commies out. The third world whiners should spend more time looking in the mirror, rather playing the blame game.

on the British now.

Strangely, where ever the British have ruled and subsequently the Americans took over as the modern era colonist, they left with unresolved issues....sometime seemingly INTENTIONALLY.
It may seem an illusion...but please tell me I am wrong...
