We are doing a scavenger hunt for our kids thid year to make a game out of getting gifts and not just tearing them open. But, I am having a hard time finding clues. Please let me know if you have any ideas. We have four children and they range form 6 to 12. So we have to be careful that they are not too hard or too easy.
Thanks for any ideas that you may share.

Try relating them to places in the house.

Example:
Find the next clue where the windows hide at night.
Find it hidden near the shadows where the scary monsters fight.

Answer: taped behind the curtains

Or maybe, have some tasks to be performed (like in Amazing Race) to get the next clue. Like say, "Form the most words with the letters T R E A S U R E H U N T"

Keep it fun though, not too taxing!
And rather than have them compete, have them work on it as a group!
