yes, actions definitely speak louder than words. My mom used to always say "love is a verb." She is definitely right. You can talk all you want, but it doesn't mean anything unless something is actually DONE to solidify the thought.

Very much so!
In most cases, even if you don't have the courage to say how you truly feel, your body will tell people! A lot of small, unconscious physical reactions are not even controlled by us, they simply happen. Think of what happens to most of us when someone who we don't really like touches us- We shrug away, or flinch, or simply go stiff under the touch. It's natural for our body to say things for us we can't, or won't, say aloud.
The same thing is true with bigger things as well. When you tell someone you care about their piano concert and decide to go out with your friends to the bar instead, you are telling that person just how much you care for them. Not only that, but you're basically saying "I put myself first in all things, not you, no matter what I might promise!" So yes, actions -do- speak louder than words to me.

They speak louder than words for everyone:
If I say, "I'm not a thief"
While I'm in the process of robbing someone, what do you believe my actions or my words?

Definitely. Look at all the preachers who denounce gays but who are themselves gay. Look at the people who preach family values but then support unnecessary wars that tear apart hundreds of thousands of families. Look at politicians who denounce corruption but who are themselves corrupt. To know who a person really is, you have to look at their actions. Words are only protective cover to hypocrites, who are all around us.

Of course! If you say you're on a diet, but everytime I see you you've got a handful of candy bars, I'm not going to trust that you are on a diet.
Unless it's that seefood diet. :P
