In Germany all over and in most other places in Europe... they even have this tube (looks like tooth paste) that has mayo and catchup together... ... It tastes good (not so healthy though)...

Well I live in Missouri, USA, I am 36 and have been eating mayo on my fries since i was a kid. It has to be real mayo though, none of that salad dressing nonsense. My 14 year old son also loves his Hellman's on his fries.

I live in the US and I use mayo on waffle fries from a certain restaurant. I also work with a lady who uses it with regular fries. But I really prefer ketchup!

France, Samoa Islands and I'm sure a few others. I eat Mayo with my fries.. but then again I'm French. :P
That s**t is damn good too. Mix it up 50/50 with the ketchup.. Mmmmm. Don't knock it till you try it!

They eat french fries with mayo in England.
Believe it or not, but after my initial reaction of "yuck" - I tried it, and you know what - they're good with mayo.

Idaho!!!! I grew up eating what they called french fry sauce which is mayo and ketchup mixed. When I moved to Texas, they thought I was crazy. Everyone eats it with ketchup here in Texas.

The Netherlands, Belgium and maybe Germany, and also the popularity is gaining in Canada....I have been doing it for years...delicious with malt vinegar and salt...not too healthy though. I am interested to know what other European countries this counts as a tradition......(the vendors in Belgium started the tradition)

A lot of them, Canada and Europe. I'm not that into it, but if you think about it, it's not that strange...potato salad is just mayo and mustard. They also like vinegar on them. Oh and they make fun of Americas because we "put ketchup on everything".
