my dad says that a deal is only good if both sides make a profit so he would say do neither.

Well if you are forced to be conscious of your actions, it would be hard for some to exploit others (though some would and do relish in it). So many people trying to be altruistic will say it's better to be exploited than to do the exploiting on another.

But simply by living in this society, driving cars (especially SUVs) , eating groceries (often in excess), wearing clothes (often way over priced and made by Asian labor at slave wages), and throwing our money away on countless "necessities" and forms of entertainment, we are exploiting a large population of the world. Without wealth, their would be no poverty... without excess, there would be no want. There's enough on this planet to sustain us all several times over, but we are not content with a simple life, we have free time to fill and neighbors to show up.

If it's better to be an American, or any Westerner over being impoverished, malnourished, and homeless, then the answer must be it's better to exploit than to be exploited.

It is better to let people think they are exploiting you while all the time you are exploiting them.

I try not to exploit or be exploited!!! But if I had to choose, I guess to exploit would be better!

You only want to be on one end of that relationship, and that’s the end that receives the services. Unfortunately, most of us never get to that end...so we remain the exploited.

exploit i think . if someone exploited u that means u are caught. if u exploit u are taking a risk of not being caught. so i would take my chances and exploit.
