I saw on a science video that the sun's heat is increasing and that it would reach a point where its too hot for humans to survive, so my question is: how do scientist know that its global warming not the sun thats causing the polar ice caps to melt? Answers will be greatly appreciated..

Check out the Inconvenient Truth video (now on DVD) as it answers ALL those questions.
But as for the polar caps, the melt is happening way to fast to be accounted for by the suns change (slower). The north polar cap might be gone by 2012, which global warming is the only thing happening that fast.

The sun is not getting hotter, our ozone is damaged. The ozone layer protects us from the sun. Everyone keeps there heads in the sand over this. We probably won't have an Antartica soon, much less a Polar Ice Cap, or Glacier National Park. Global warming is destroying the world.

what's faulty with thinking outdoors the bubble ? Christopher Columbus concept the international became around.... and people who listened (ninety%) concept he became MAD... and that the international became FLAT (of direction) What has replaced for the reason that ? Media, jumps on a band wagon. Many scientists (in basic terms 60%) have faith that international Warming is 'accessible', SO all and sundry MAKE IT fact ? Like interior the days of Colombus, the 'information' became sparkling the international became FLAT. right here right this moment the final 25 years the international temps have been 'trending' bigger. different than for the final 3-4 years. because of the fact the downward cooling vogue, international Warming Activists have replaced their 'hoopla' as (shifting Fwd places it) as climate substitute. properly of couse the climate is changing. duh. And the fad right this moment would desire to be, (ok be) as scientists expected (1970's) we've been headed for yet another ICE AGE ! who to have faith ??? Come on all and sundry, shall we be 'extreme' thinkers, no longer some sheep. those are my ideas for the day.

the suns rising temperature is effing the polar caps yea but not as much as global warming is. The change in temperate is too minute for it to have a massive effect on the polar caps.

According to a study by Stanford the ice caps on Mars are melting at a faster rate than ours. Is mankind responsible for this also?
