Dante's Inferno - The Movie is presently in pre-production, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0889133/ , and I wonder if people are ready to watch an epic movie that shows torments of the afterlife. Would you watch it?

This movie was originally made in 1911 and it is now available on DVD. It is also the only epic version that lives up to the book to date. You can see a review of this movie here: http://www.thedivinecomedymovies.com/divine-comedy-1911.html

Somebody is finally filming The Divine Comedy?!?! OMG, I'd love to watch it. Dante was one of my fave poets! See you at the first level of Hell! I just hope it does the work justice

I heard once there's an Italian (? Maybe...foreign anyway) version of the Inferno that was made back in the early 1900's (1910-1920 sometime) that I've always wanted to see.

I'd be interested to see this newer version too so long as it wasn't Hollywooded up (For example - "This Christmas - ORLANDO BLOOM in Dante's Inferno!! With Morgan Freeman as Virgil!")

I would love to see it but that would be a hard book to make into a movie.
