Greetings,

I got my pc repaired recently, and because my mother board was a bit dodgy the engineers gave me a new on. The main reason i bought a pc was for gaming, although i didn't know anything about computers so i got a crap graphics card.

Anyway now that i have this new mother board i also now have onboard graphics which is really bad! I tried installing some games the other day and the graphics were worse than a megadrive.

As i stated the video card i had previously was bad enough but now i have this new VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP chipset i'm lucky if the games work at all.

Please help!, what should i do?

I suggest NVIDIA for gaming first of all.

I have a APG slot in this old comp, and if you do also i suggest a NVIDIA GeForce FX5200 DirectX 9.0 Compatable so it works like a charm.

Im sorry i cant find out any information on your current card, but thought i would make a suggestion

P.s.
Even a 128 MB Video card should work for gaming just fine as long as it isnt anything that you want to play at maximum graphics. Just lower all settings like resolution and quality and raise it as you want and check how much of a difference in performance this makes and find the half point from bearable graphics and good performance.
