Probably you'll go to the bathroom and see blood on the paper when you wipe. Or you'll feel a sensation of wetness, go check, and behold! Blood! It probably won't be terribly painful (for me, it's like mild backache, it only is for the first day or two, and aspirin or tylenol kills it dead)
Your period is sometimes kind of a hassle, but it's certainly not anything to dread. Everybody gets them, and for most of us, it's a very minor part of life after the first one.

It may seems scary..but when you finally gets it, it's really nothing. Some ppl get cramps, some don't. I got my period when i was in form 3, and i was always asking my friends (most of thm got it when they were in form 1), how was it, painful or not, etc. Don't worry, when u get it, it's not like a gush of blood suddenly flows out, it'll be like very small brown stain on your panties. That'd be usually the first sign.

It's annoying more than anything. Most girls get cramps at one time or another, if you do, just tell your doctor. He or she will help you find ways to deal with it. Sometimes people use birth control pills to help with cramps, or they take Motrin/Advil/Tylenol or even prescription painkillers.
The first time you get it, you'll probably have to figure out how to wash blood out of your underwear, how to use pads, what kind of pads you like, and how often to change them. Go to http://beinggirl.com/ and read through some of the articles.

It's not scary once you get it, don't worry. You may get cramps, but it won't be more than a mild stomach ache. You could get cravings for chocolate or salty foods, and you may be moody or cry. It's not scary, it is something that every women goes through.

I am sorry you feel scared about it. It may hurt, but very mildly. Most girls discover the evidence in their underwear before they even knew it was coming.

A good chance you won't feel a thing, just one day it starts. Don't be worried about it - it is not a big deal- and when it happens welcome to that world it will become part of life quickly.
