Money to buy the best players in professional sports though it does not always equal ultimate success. Yankees are a good example of a team that spends through the roof and is not successful at that level, pretty successful but not totally. In college and amateur sports its team chemistry and by that I mean the right players in the right positions. College success in the major sports, NCAAF and NCAAB is money to attract the best high school players and coaches. That money comes from the television contracts. College football at the top level is a huge money business.

A lot of things.

Talent, both players and coaches. It helps to be better or at least as good as your opponment. Coaches that get you ready to play by designing plays and knowing what the other team might do. Coaching is also about putting players in position to make big plays.

Attitude. You got to want it.

Chemistry. Confidence in your teammates is critical. Knowing a player is going to do his job and be where he is suppose to be.

Luck. Usually the harder you work the more luck you seem to have.
